Dorking Wanderers Football Club was founded in 1999 by a group of friends and less than 25 years later they find themselves on the brink of the Football League.
The journey this club has been on has attracted national attention, with football fans all over the country encapsulated by this fairytale story.
Dorking Wanderers have built two stadiums, dealt with two seasons written off by Covid and yet next season will face National League clubs of real football heritage, like Notts County and Wrexham.
Marc White, the club’s co-founder, owner, chairman and manager spoke about his club, from pub football roots, to within touching distance of the big leagues.
