Hello…is it Adele? Singer pranks impersonators at New Wimbledon Theatre for BBC show

Global superstar Adele donned a disguise to impersonate herself for a fictitious show at New Wimbledon Theatre in a BBC sketch which aired on Friday night.

The Someone Like You hitmaker wore a wig, prosthetic nose and chin and donned long gloves to hide her distinctive tattoos including one dedicated to son Angelo.

She also adopted a different accent to complete her transformation into a nanny called Jenny for a segment on Adele at the BBC hosted by Graham Norton.

Speaking to Graham Norton in the theatre’s piano bar she said: “I’m going to do Jenny, it’s very calm and slow because I talk really harsh and my day job is I’m a nanny.

“Nannies talking very slow and very calm to make the world make sense.”

The nine other hopefuls were oblivious that they were competing against the ten-time Grammy winner.

Adele took to the stage, first pretending to miss the cue, and then finally began her rendition of Someone Like You.

One by one the other singers realised that Jenny was in fact Adele.
