New and expanded Superdrug returns to Twickenham

On 29 July, Twickenham residents enjoyed the opening of a new Superdrug described as significantly larger than its predecessor, bringing with it the latest trending products and services.

The previous Twickenham branch had closed in early 2024 with the new 6,759 sq. ft store located between Café Nero and The Optical Gallery on King Street.

To celebrate the opening of the store, attendees enjoyed a DJ set and goodie bags of sought after products worth over £100 were given to the first 100 customers.

Superdrug property director Clare Jennings stated the retailer is looking forward “to welcoming both new and returning customers into the store.”

Jennings also praised the “even wider” selection of fragrance, health, beauty and wellbeing products, rendering Superdrug Twickenham the “one-stop destination” for essentials.

Its opening has created 22 jobs as part of the retailers’ wider growth strategy, with plans to open 30 new stores across the UK in 2026.

The size of the shop has allowed for a dedicated beauty studio that offers brow, nail and pricing services to ‘elevate’ the customer experience for ‘accessible’ prices.

The expanded range of products and services seemed to please customers like Zahra, 21, from New Malden who commented on how spacious the shop was and said the store “had everything”.

Superdrug Twickenham is open seven days a week – Monday to Saturday 9:00-18:00 and Sunday 11:00-17:00.
