Forest has recently won the contract to become the sole e-bike provider in the borough of Richmond, replacing Lime.
The recently agreed deal with Richmond Council, estimated to be £3million adds to the company’s footprint across 19 London boroughs.
It started operating in 2021 and focuses on sustainability and reducing congestion, while offering a cheaper alternative to other providers around the city.
Born in London, the former start-up is looking to continue to expand across the capital as it looks to push its London focused policy.
Alex Berwin, head of policy at Forest, told the SW Londoner: “We have a great team, we have been able to put in these great offers and that has now been recognized by the boroughs.”
