On nature reserves across the country, something strange is occurring.
Far from attracting their usual crowds, a younger generation, more associated with tweeting than twitching, is picking up their binoculars.
Almost three-quarters of a million Gen-Zers now regularly enjoy birdwatching, according to new research published by the RSPB.
But what’s behind this old-fashioned hobby’s hike in popularity?
