December 10 bandmate pulls out of European tour after announcing he’s ‘taking time out’

Danny Bretherton is currently taking a break from December 10 after an alleged controversary spread online.

Bretherton, 17, is facing allegations of inappropriate comments that have been circulating on social media.

Two weekends ago, December 10 posted that Danny was “taking some time out” to get the support he needs while focusing on his mental health.

The bands statement reads: “Danny’s taking some time out at the moment and we’re all respecting that.

“One thing we’ve always spoken about as a band is the importance of looking after your mental health and getting support when you need it. Right now, that’s what Danny is focusing on.

“He’s our friend and we care about him, so we’re supporting him and giving him the space and privacy he needs.”

The rest of the band are continuing to perform on their ‘December 10: The Next Step Tour’ with their first show being in Amsterdam on 26 June.

The band will perform across the UK with shows in London on 17 and 18 July at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.

The seven-man boyband formed on the Netflix show, The Next Act, created by Simon Cowell.

The band have their first EP ‘On Your Side’ coming out on 10 July.

They received the opportunity to perform at Capital’s Summertime Ball where they sung their new release ‘Infinity (123)’ and asked the audience to chant the lyrics.

They have since released charting tracks including ‘Angel’ which spent a week at Number 1 of the UK Officials Singles Chart.
