Buddhapadipa Temple in Wimbledon celebrated Thai New Year (also known as the Songkran Festival) this month.
Visitors were able to enjoy live performances and Thai food, as well as participate in traditional aspects of the festival.
Songkran is a national holiday in Thailand, normally celebrated on 13 April, but the Buddhapadipa Temple kicked off the festivities early on Saturday the 11th.
The SW Londoner spoke to a local temple volunteer and Thai desserts stall holder to find out more about what makes this festival so special every year.
