In a national competition, Colombo Kitchen has topped the list for being the best in the UK at delivering top-notch Sri Lankan cuisine.
The Nation’s Curry Awards, which celebrates the “rich and diverse curry culture” of the country, awards winners who have proved themselves of “exceptional quality, innovation, and consistency”.
This is another year of accolades for Colombo Kitchen – which has branches in Putney and Worcester Park – on top of winning Best Sri Lankan Dining Experience in 2025 and having received awards for head chef and founder Sylvia Perera in the years prior.
“This recognition reflects the dedication of our passionate team across both restaurants and the continued support of our community, from loyal local guests to diners discovering Sri Lankan food for the first time,” said Perera.
“Awards like this inspire us to keep sharing the depth, warmth and vibrancy of Sri Lankan cooking through everything we do at Colombo Kitchen.”
