LISTEN: The revival of Scottish Gaelic

Scottish Gaelic is experiencing a renewed surge of interest and effort to learn the language, and part of this is a conversation circle in London.

The circle, which meets weekly in central London, provides a space for individuals to practice, converse and preserve their Gaelic skills.

Scotts Gaelic, the original language of Scotland, experienced a massive decline in the 1700’s after the Battle of Culloden.

Scots are now battling to keep their language and their culture alive.
