The GLL Sport Foundation (GSF) launched in Richmond this month, where it now runs Pools on the Park and Teddington Pool and Fitness Centre.
GSF is the largest independent athlete support programme in the UK, offering financial bursaries, facility access, physiotherapy, mentoring and mental health support to talented athletes across all sports and 70 areas nationwide.
A record £2 million will be awarded in 2026, with 88% of GSF athletes receiving no other funding.
Past recipients of GSF support include elite athletes: Tom Daley, Ellie Simmonds, Anthony Joshua, and Kimberley Woods.
Athletes can apply to GSF schemes here, with applications closing 5 February 2026.
