WATCH: Londoners ditch trousers on Tube this weekend

The annual No Trousers Tube Ride took place this weekend, with Londoners taking their seats on the Tube… trouser-less.

The No Trousers Tube Ride 2026 was in full swing on Sunday, kicking the New Year off with some fun, down on the underground.

Tourists, locals and commuters all witnessed hundreds of people take part in the trouser-less event.

The event started at Leicester Square at 3pm, and ventured through central London to Liverpool Street.

Dave Selkirk, organiser of the No Trousers Tube Ride 2026, stumbled across the event a couple of years ago, which has since grown in popularity.

“A group of friends and I were on the train in 2013 and thought this is awesome, so we joined in,” he said.

“It’s quite a thing just taking off your trousers on the Tube, it is daunting but very quickly the atmosphere is amazing and it’s incredible.

“Just come, wear appropriate pants and see how you feel on the day, you can just ride around with us on the tube, you don’t need to take your pants off.”
