WATCH: W4 Winter Art and Design Fair celebrates local artists for a fifth year

The W4 Winter Art and Design Fair returned to Chiswick for its fifth year on 21 and 22 November.

Each year, St Alban’s church in Acton Green Common is transformed into a colourful celebration of painters, sculptors, jewellers, and designers.

This year, the event boasted 35 artists local to west London, the most it has ever seen.

The fair was split over two days, with an evening event featuring live jazz music from the Mark Buckingham Jazz Trio and a daytime fair the next day.

Organiser Roz Wallis said: “We’ve really tried hard to make sure we have good quality and a wide range.

“People really enjoy coming because it is a local event with local artists.”

Visitors to the fair agreed, praising the creativity on show at the fair, which featured everything from typewriter art to handmade kimonos.
