A MERTON pub has introduced a unique loyalty card system to help punters beat the recession.
The Nelson Arms, on Merton High Street, allows their loyal customers discounts, free meals on their birthday, and a bottle of wine for dining parties of three or more.
Manageress Kel Patel said: “We’re really trying to give something back to our customers.”
