Crystal Palace owners face being struck off after failing to file accounts

The company that owns Crystal Palace is facing being struck off by Companies House with its accounts now two months overdue.

CPFC 2010 will be served with a notice for compulsory strike-off on June 5.

The notice appeared on Companies House last night and will be published in five days time.

CPFC Limited and CPFC Selhurst Park have also been served with the notices.

The accounts for all three companies were due on March 31 2018.

The company will be automatically fined for late submission of accounts, and no further action is likely should the accounts be submitted.

Following the issuing of the notice, should the accounts not be filed, Companies House can strike the company off the register and remove all assets, giving them to the crown.

A source close to the club advised that the accounts were with the Premier League for their sign-off and are due to be published imminently.

In December 2015, Crystal Palace agreed a takeover deal with American consortium led by Joshua Harris and David Blitzer that saw the pair purchase 18 per cent of the club each, with then chairman Steve Parish reducing his shareholding in a £100m deal.
