Non-League Preview: Sutton United looking to continue unbeaten streak

Sutton United will play host to Weston-Super-Mare on Saturday as they look to extend their unbeaten run to six.

The ‘U’s have a newfound resilience, holding Concord Rangers last time out, even though they were reduced to 10 men.

Paul Doswell’s men have not conceded in the last two matches and this will bring confidence ahead of the meeting against 16th placed Weston-Super-Mare.

In the Ryman Premier, Met Police will be looking to build on mid-week’s cup win when they host second-placed Margate.

Met Police still remain 6th despite being winless in three league games, and will have a perfect opportunity to raise morale when their high-flying opposition.

Meanwhile Hampton & Richmond Borough go away to Leatherhead looking to bounce back from three consecutive defeats.

Carshalton Athletic, who have been on a renaissance in the Ryman South of late winning three in the last four, travel to Chipshead who are just ahead of them in the table.

A win for Carshalton will see them leapfrog their opponents, despite having two games in hand.

It could also see them go into ninth position depending on how Three Bridges fare at home to Corinthians Casuals.

Corinthians find themselves nine points and eight positions adrift of their rivals, having only won a single league game since the turn of the year.

Tooting & Mitcham United will also host struggling Walton Casuals.

In the Combined Counties League, Rayne’s Park Vale will host Epsom and Ewell after winning their first since early December last weekend.

Meanwhile, 10th placed Colliers Wood United travel to bottom-club Hanworth Villa.
