The Londoners World Cup quarter-finals review: England v France and Morocco v Portugal

In the second of the Londoners’ World Cup quarter-final podcasts this week, our panel review Saturday’s quarter-finals and throw-forward to tomorrow’s second semi-final.
It was heartbreak for England, as Harry Kane’s missed penalty proved decisive in their 2-1 defeat to France despite an overall strong performance from the Three Lions against Les Bleus.
But it was jubilation for Morocco in the other quarter-final, as they became the first ever African side to reach the World Cup semi-finals as they saw off Portugal 1-0 thanks to a goal by Youssef En-Nesyri.
