Lambeth flasher targets woman in community gardens – police appeal for witnesses

A flasher who indecently exposed himself to a woman in Harleyford Community Gardens is being hunted by Lambeth police.

Police are appealing for help to identity a man they would like to speak to in relation to the incident on Saturday September 6.

The victim, a 27-year-old woman, saw a man enter the community gardens next to Harleyford Road at approximately 3pm.

It is believed he then partially concealed himself in the bushes before carrying out an indecent act.

Police believe that a similar incident was also witnessed on Saturday September 13 in the same area.

Officers would like to trace the man who is described as being of Asian appearance, of slim build and aged between 25 to 30 years old.

He was wearing a grey/black cycling helmet, read and black cycling shirt, black shorts with red and yellow diagonal stripes, red rucksack and blue trainers.

The Harleyford Community Gardens are maintained by local residents and include a children’s play area and picnic facilities.
