Clean up Aussie-style

Summary:

New Aussie cleaning product set to clean up Merton

By Maxim McDonald

Australia is set to clean up Merton through the sale in various supermarkets of Ozkleen, a range of cleaning products from Down Under.

Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons are among the high street chains now stocking the products that have taken their home market by storm.

Ozkleen, whose products include Bath Power, Carpet Power and Kitchen Power, rank number one in many household cleaner categories in Australia and they hope to bring that success here.

The company demonstrated their products this weekend at a stall in the Ideal Home Show in Earls Court, which attracts over 250,000 people each year.

Ozkleen’s Sean Heron said: ‘We are delighted to be here selling this great product that we started selling in Queensland all those years ago. It’s really good stuff!’

The stall attracted a lot of attention from curious passers-by as Sean explained the benefits of the product to them.

Sue, a visitor to the Ideal Home Show from London, seemed unimpressed.

She said: “The man was demonstrating Kitchen Power by cleaning burnt up grease, which is quite easy to clean, so I’m yet to be totally convinced.”

However, husband John had already begun haggling with Sean on a special deal of four for two on some of the products.

The products are known as ‘New Generation cleaners’ because they do not contain chlorine, ammonia or phosphates which can cause harm to the environment.
