The Rose Theatre presents Hans Christian Andersen’s tale of friendship, adapted by Charles Way.
Directed by Natascha Metherell, the story sees the power of love triumph over wickedness, as Cei and Gerda embark on an epic journey to conquer the evil Snow Queen.

The Broadway Bar Charity Pub Challenge: The Broadway Bar, Tolworth

Saturday 3 December, 7.30pm

Tickets: £5

Always a fun and friendly night, this quiz will be hosted by two experienced quiz masters, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for the Mayor of Kingston’s nominated charities – Macmillan Cancer Support and Born Too Soon.  Teams of individuals can enter. The Mayor, Patrick Codd and the Mayoress, Susan Codd will be entering a team.  There will be seven question rounds, three table rounds and a music round plus an opportunity to bride the quizmaster with all the proceeds going to the two charities.  Nibbles and drinks will be served on the evening and there will be a prize for the winning team.

Castle Hill Christmas Fair: Castle Hill Primary School, Chessington

Market Discovery Evening: Ancient Market Place, Kingston Town Centre

Enjoy an evening of entertainment and shopping at the Ancient Market Place.  Chocolate lovers will no doubt flock to the ground floor of the Market House throughout the evening where Montezuma’s, Patisserie Valerie, Hotel Chocolat, ShakeAway, Thornton’s and Bentalls will all be on hand. There will also be fantastic displays of fruit and vegetables from the regular Ancient Market traders as well as the Christmas Market and Eden Craft & Gift Fair where Christmas shoppers can purchase some extra-special presents for their loved ones.
