Hammersmith and Fulham Council Firework Displays

When: November 1/2, 6pm

Where: Bishops Park/Ravenscourt Park

Hammersmith and Fulham Council are back with a bang this year, as 20,000 people are expected to disembark on Bishops Park and Ravenscourt Park this weekend. This explosive event will take on a Superhero theme on Friday November 1at Bishops Park, Fulham and Saturday, November 2 at Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith. Gates open at 6pm and children’s fireworks start at 7:15pm.  Festivities finish with a choreographed display to ‘Superhero’ Music, starting at around 8pm. It is going to be bigger than ever with fun for all ages so bring along your friends and family for the funfair and the footstalls. Tickets cost £7 and under 5’s go free but make a saving of 33% through the Lyric Theatre box office until October 31

 

Vauxhall Fire Festival Firework Display

When: November 1, 6:30pm

Where: Vauxhall Pleasure Garden

The climax of Vauxhall’s Pleasure Garden Fire Festival (October 17-November 3) is their Bonfire Night revelry on November 1. The blazing bonanza encompasses a variety of hot food and drink at a variety of stalls until the bonfire is lit at 7pm, marking the dawn of the night’s amusements.  There will be a magical performance from the Tea House Theatre, revealing the origins of fire through different manners such as storytellers, gymnasts and artists. The pinnacle will be a spectacular fireworks display starting at 8pm and with free entry this cannot be missed.

 

Battersea Park Fireworks

When: November 2, 6pm

Where: Battersea Park

Sit back and admire Wandsworth Council light up the skies at Battersea Park’s Firework Display on November 2. Gates open at 6pm, so watch sparks fly with some warm food and drinks from the stalls including mulled wine, toffee apples and roasted chestnuts, whilst soaking in the evening’s entertainment in one of South West London’s most picturesque parks. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm before a dazzling display starts at around 8pm. Tickets must be purchased in advance as none will be sold on the door. Tickets cost £6.50 until October 27, £8 until November 1 and £10 on the day. Under 10’s go free however a free ticket is still required.

 

Barnes Sports Club Fireworks Night

When: November 2, 5:30pm

Where: Barnes Sports Club

There will be Guy Fawkes fun all around on Saturday November 2 at Barnes Sports Club. Dress up for your chance to win a price in the ‘Best Guy’ fancy dress competition which will be judged at 6:30pm. Then sit back and marvel at the colossal bonfire before the fireworks commence at 8pm. There will be live music and DJ’s playing throughout so enjoy variety of food and drinks available from the food and mulled wine stalls, not forgetting the fully licensed bar. For the kids, there is a ‘Make-a-Guy’ competition to get involved with, the winner of which can join the torch lit procession and help light the bonfire. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for children and a family ticket for two adults and two children is available for £25. Under 5’s go free.

 

Richmond Family Fireworks

When: November 3rd, 4:30pm

Where: Richmond Athletics Ground

The Richmond Family Fireworks display is back due to popular demand bringing magnificent pyrotechnics to West London. Notorious for its family friendly atmosphere, this year the display is themed around the ‘Best of the Beatles’. Gates open at 4:30pm and there is plenty to enjoy including live music, fair-ground rides, mulled wine and hot food before the display commences at 7pm. Admission is £10 for adults, £5 for children and under 5’s go free. A family ticket for two adults and four children is available for £30, but book in advance for some excellent savings. So wrap up warm and head down to Richmond Athletics Ground this November.

 

Brockwell Park Fireworks Display

When: November 5th, 5pm-10pm

Where: Brockwell Park, Brixton

Join Lambeth Council illuminate the atmosphere this November in Brockwell Park. Setting out to be one of the capitals largest displays this year, you really cannot afford to miss out on a heavy dose of pyrotechnics. Themed around ‘The Four Seasons’, this year’s explosive exhibit has been created by the team which gave us the unforgettable and outstanding London Olympic fireworks. There will definitely be plenty to look at including Morris men, stilt walkers, fire dancers and live music from a variety of novel artists and bands. The well-known and loved celebrity, Fireman Sam, will be on hand to offer fair safety advice to kids and with an unrevealed ‘extra special’ finale announced and free entry for all, this promises to be one of the greatest events of the year.

 

Wimbledon Park Fireworks Display

When: November 2/5

Where: Merton Park/ Wimbledon Park

Merton Council are certainly keeping themselves busy this November with not one but two magnificent displays taking place on each night. Gates will open at 5:15pm and the night will kick off with a children’s performance including a bonfire and a fireworks display running with the theme of ‘Kids TV and Film’. At 8:15pm the noisier and more thrilling show will commence, with a second bonfire and fireworks display. With the fairground, food and refreshments stall open until 10pm, why not make a night of it? Come along to Morden Park on November 2 or Wimbledon Park on November 5 for some fun, food and most importantly fireworks.
