Britain’s Got Talent finalist Steve Hewlett will be at the New Wimbledon Theatre next week as Magnificent Music Hall Matinee returns to the borough.

The variety production will feature song, dance, magic and laughter as it takes the audience back in time to the heyday of Music Hall, circa 1890s.

Bobby Crush, who appeared on TV’s Opportunity Knocks, will be delighting audiences with his pianist talents in the production. The musician has also made many West End appearances in musicals including The Rocky Horror Show and Chicago.

Ventriloquist Steve Hewlett was chosen as the Wild Card in the final of Britain’s Got Talent, and has performed across the country at venues including The Magic Circle Theatre and London Palladium.

Most recently, he has supported Brian Conley on his UK theatre tour and will end the year in Kent where he will perform at the Central Theatre’s Christmas Pantomime.

The show, produced and directed by Jan Hunt, will also feature a commemorative selection of the Great World War One songs as part of the special centenary year.

The production will be held on January 15 at 2:30pm. Tickets costs £16 and can be purchased at http://www.atgtickets.com/wimbledon or by calling 0844 871 7646.
