Police appeal after man attacked while waiting at Lambeth bus stop

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked at a bus stop in Lambeth on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Sunday October 6 at around 6pm on Acre Lane.

The victim, a 34-year-old male, was waiting at the 130 bus stop with a female companion. As the bus 37 arrived at the stop, four men approached and assaulted him.

The victim was treated for two stab wounds at a South London Hospital.

The men that attacked the victim are described as four black males wearing hooded tops.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen or heard anything to call DC Michael Quinian on 020 8649 2196.
