Italian woman charged with murder of two-month-old baby daughter in Hammersmith and Fulham

A woman has been charged with the murder of her baby daughter in Hammersmith and Fulham.

Federica Boscolo-Gnolo, 31, an Italian national of Chioggia, Italy (no fixed address in the UK) was charged yesterday with the murder of Farah Boscolo-Gnolo.

Farah was born in Chioggia on November 22 2014.

Federica Boscolo-Gnolo was arrested on January 29 after she reported the baby’s disappearance from a hotel in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

Officers from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating and, although no body has been found, detectives obtained authority to charge Federica Boscolo-Gnolo with murder.

She appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded in custody to next appear at the Old Bailey on February 3.
