Two professional boxers are aiming high ahead of their big showdowns at Wembley Arena next week.
Dean Richardson and Daniel Keenan will both fight on the George Groves vs Jamie Cox undercard at Wembley Arena on October 14.
The pair, whose opponents have not yet been named, are unbeaten so far and are confident of earning title shots in the near future.
Richardson, 22, who fights in the welterweight division, said: “We train six times a week, twice a day and we won’t stop until we become world champions.
“The bigger crowds give you an adrenaline rush to impress and be on your best form. There is so much support out there.”
The winner of the headline fight will reach the World Boxing Super Series semi-final, and Richardson admits that Groves has been a big inspiration in his career to date.
He said: “George is someone I look up to. When I first started boxing he was someone whose style I liked and how he fought.”
The boys are good friends and train together at Hammersmith-based boxing Studio State of Mind Fitness, and their workouts vary between intense cardio, sparring and weighted sessions.
Super-welterweight Keenan, 20, experienced a set back by suffering a broken hand in his third professional fight, but recovery sessions from Ice Health Cryotherapy in Kensington have helped return him to full fitness.
He said, “I broke my hand in my third fight, and since then it’s been pretty bad and in my fights I’ve pretty much had one hand.
“My hand was really big and swollen before which impacted my training and my fights, but now I feel brand new.”
