Fulham hope to escape relegation zone in home clash against Charlton Athletic

Fulham v Charlton Athletic @ Craven Cottage

Friday, 24 October 2014 @ 7.45pm

Fulham will be pushing to move out of the Championship relegation zone for the first time this season when they host Charlton Athletic at Craven Cottage tonight.

The Cottagers have drawn their last two matches, the most recent finishing 3-3 away to Rotherham in which Dan Burn scored a last-minute equaliser.

A draw would be enough to move them out of the relegation zone.

Charlton on the other hand have made a great start to the season under Bob Peeters as they sit just outside the play-off places in seventh.

The southeast London side know a win will bring them to within a point of leaders Derby.

Ex-Charlton midfielder Scott Parker is back in the Fulham squad after being rested against Rothertham.

The Addicks will be without the suspended Yoni Buyens while winger Johann Berg Gudmundsson (ankle) and top scorer Igor Vetokele (Achilles tendon) are doubts.

Star Man: Ross McCormack

Danger Man: Johnnie Jackson

Last meeting: FA Cup January 7 2012 Fulham 4-0 Charlton
